Q: What's my race number?

You will be able to find your race number on the noticeboard in the Sports Hall on the day.  However, registration will be by Surname so you don't need to know it to register!

Q: Have I entered? Can I check the entry list?

Yes, you can check all the latest entries by clicking on your race distance here.

Q: When to entries close? Q: Can I enter on the day?

Online entries close at midnight on Monday 8th May.  You can enter all distances for an increased price on the day provided you do so 30 minutes before the race start time. Leave plenty of time though as we anticipate it being busy! Complete this form in advance to save time.

All £3 payments for the 100m toddle will be taken on the day but please pre-register to guarantee a medal.

Q: Can I change distance?

Yes, you can do this at race registration on the day provided you request it at least 30 minutes before the start of the distance you want to participate in.  No refunds will be given and you will need to pay £11 if changing from 2km to 5 or 10km.

Q: I can’t race anymore, can I get a refund?

No, unfortunately we can’t offer refunds.

Q: Can I transfer my place to next year?

No, unfortunately we can’t transfer places to future races.

Q: Can my friend race instead of me?  I know someone who can race instead of me, can I swap with them?

No, unfortunately we can’t swap places between people.

Q: What time does my race start?

The start times are:

10:30: 2km fun run

11:00: 100m toddle

11:15: 5km race

11:30: 10km race

Here are the Race Day Details

Q: What time does race registration open and close?

Race registration opens at 9:00.  Each competitor must collect their race number.  It closes 30 minutes before your race start.

Q: Is it chip timing?

It is a gun start and a chip timed finish.  The 2km, 5km and 10km will be timed.  There won’t be times for the 100m toddle.

Q: Can I run with a running buggy?

Running buggies are allowed but must start at the back.  Note there are some large potholes on the course that you will need to steer around.

Q: Can I run with a dog?  Can I bring a dog?

You can't run with dogs but you are allowed to bring dogs onto the site provided they are kept on a lead and any dog mess is cleared up.

Q: Can I wear headphones?

Yes, as it is on closed traffic free roads headphones are permitted.

Q: Will there be a safe place to leave bags?

There will be an unmanned area where you can leave your bags at your own risk.  Please don't leave valuables.  WTP accept no responsibility for lost or damaged property.

Q: What else is going on in the Festival Village?

There will be a BBQ, cake stall, hot and cold drinks, icecream van and lots of entertainment including a bouncy castle, colouring corner & games.

Q: Can we have a stand/ presence in the Festival Village?
